Trivia[]
- Camila's affair is treated differently in the TV series versus the book. In the book, she has a one night stand with a random guy in a bar, while in the show, she sleeps with her best friend and bandmate Eddie Roundtree.
- The story around the song "Regret Me" is changed from the book to the TV series.
- In the book Daisy writes it while at the beach, while in the series she writes it on the highway which causes a car accident.
- In the book, she presents the song to Billy first and then physically pulls the band members one-by-one into a room and calls for a vote. This happens in reverse in the series, as Daisy plays for the band first and then Billy, though his obstinance still prompts the vote.
- The information that Daisy and Billy leak to Jonah Berg is also slightly different in the book then in the series. The biggest difference being that Daisy tells Jonah that Billy missed his daughters birth because he was high, while in the series she only tells Jonah that Billy missed the christening and went to rehab.
